๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ญ Adapting to Lockdown in Thailand

Bangkok, Thailand:

What has been the hardest part about the situation for you?
The hardest part has probably been seeing all the events and celebrations I was going to attend, being cancelled.

What are the rules where you live, and when were they put into place?
In general, most people were not permitted to leave their houses past 10pm to around 4am. If these rules were broken, Iโ€™m pretty sure there wouldโ€™ve been a heavy sentence.

How often do you leave your house (if at all)?
During the pandemic, I hadnโ€™t left the house a single time apart from going to the grocery store right next to where I live, to do some shopping.

When do you think the rules will be removed?
Where I live, the number of patients infected with the corona virus has settled down in the past few weeks. In the coming weeks, I think that the rules will get less and less strict. However, I do not believe that they will be completely removed at once.

How does the situation affect you?
As a person who mostly enjoys staying at home, the situation has not necessarily affected me in general. Being encompassed with technology, it has definitely made it easier to communicate with other people and continue with schoolwork which has also made my lockdown experience even smoother and less stressful.

Are you glad to be at home?
Yes

Are you bored?
No

How do you pass time?
I usually watch TV shows, spend time with my family or do art pieces.

How do you do groceries?
We have a grocery store right next to our apartment, so itโ€™s been very easy to gather groceries.

Do you have school (if so, does it work well and how do you feel about it)?
Our school has definitely adapted very quickly to the current situation and made our learning experiences a lot less stressful for us students. The software our school uses is very convenient to use and although there may be some technical issues from time to time, the process from learning at school to online learning has been very smooth. I really enjoy learning at home as I have time to work at my own pace and be in a more comfortable environment.
