🇺🇸 Cracking Down in California

Since the beginning of the sheltering in place, I’ve been going out every day (being careful to stay far away from others). At the beginning, I took walks or went on runs, but lately I’ve been playing basketball with my sister.

But Stanford has also been cracking down; they actually closed the popular walking path near my house (called “The Dish”) because people weren’t following the social distancing rules. Yesterday, my sister was playing soccer in a wide open field with no one around when a security guard drove up and stopped her. Hopefully with the university being proactive (they also closed their campus early) our area will be in better shape.

The sign (pictured at top) also went up recently reminding and warning people to social distance.
